Error box "File not found" when I open project??

Hi - all of a sudden when I open my project in Project Pro
2003 I get a series of small popup boxes that say "FILE
NOT FOUND - OK/CANCEL". The title on the window
is "Microsoft Visual Basic". I can OK through these and
the file opens fine. When I attempt to close the file the
same thing happens. I can open this same project in
Project 2002 Pro and I don't get this error. I can open
other projects in Project 2003 and don't get this error.
Interestingly, I restored a prior version of this plan
from several days ago when I wasn't having problems and I
get the same error messages when I open it. I've
uninstalled and reinstalled Project 2003.

What could be wrong?!

Hi Ben

I had this problem between Project versions 98 and 2002.
I think our problem was caused when a P98 plan was updated
and saved in P2002. Then saved again under P98. This
caused some curruption in the VBA side of the plan.

I think P2002 put a line of code in a module that P98
could not read (something like that). Anyway I couldn't
read any of the VBA for the plan after this and I had the
same messages you are getting.

I don't think you need to worry about the messages. We
still have a live plan that is doing this in our
portfolio, but it does not cause any problems.

To fix it, you may try copying all the data from your plan
into a blank P2003 file. Once in a fresh mpp file you
should not have the problem.
