Error-Can´t open Excel files

I get an Excel error when I try to open an Excel file in recent documents.
Excel says that it has encountered a probelm and needs to close. I have sent
reports to Microsoft on this error many times, but hasn´t got a reply. I have
Excel 2007 installed. A strange thing that I have seen is that the date for
file creation in Document Recovery is set to January 1, 1601, time 02:00 ?
Anyone that has an idea how to solve this ?

Does this problem affect just one file or all files that you attempt to open
from recent documents?

Can you create a new excel file in excel 2007, close it, and then open it
again from recent documents? If so then it is just an error with that one
particular file.

If you are not able to open your excel file then its mean that your excel
