I am getting a Data Type mismatch error when I try to run a query that
Microsoft said will help me dedupe my name and address list.
All they told me to do was to run a query using the Totals icon and then
grouping all of the fields "var" except for the address filed and to group
that by "first" - this is supposed to produce a list of names containing the
first occurance of an address - thus eliminating all duplicates.
Instead - I get this data type mismatch thing - I have change all of the
field types to text except for the primary key field and that does nothing to
help.
All of the other threads I have seen on this subject involve missing a """
or a "(" or something but I am putting nothing in the criteria field because
I only want to group them.
Can anyone out there give me a hint on what to do next.
