I have the correct info in my
Outlook as the "Send test message" works when I check the info in the

That test doesn't completely exercise the entire path from client to server
and back again.

If you can't ping the ISP, that could explain why you can't send mail.
However, it could also mean you have a firewall blocking ICMP packets. Cal
you telnet to port 25 of the SMTP server you have defined? Click Start>Run,
enter "cmd" in the Open field and click OK. In the command prompt window
you get, enter
telnet yourservername 25
and see what happens.
What do you mean by credentials?
The username and password your ISP gave you for your mail account.
