I cannot seem to get the OWC10.msi to install all of its dependencies on
Windows 2003 Server. Do I have to run more then just OWC10.msi?

Keep seeing this error message returned from soap handler:

COM object with CLSID {0002E542-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} is either not
valid or not registered.

I am working on MSDN sample
http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/03/10/OLAP/default.aspx

Thank-you Pierre

I have a very similar problem, but my error is for CLSID...

0002E541-0000-0000-C000-000000000046

I can find no reference to this CLSID anywhere (google, microsoft.com). If I
knew what software package created the registry entry, I'd install it on the
server!

This CLSID is on my developer PC, but looks to be just a pointer to
0002E551.

this is an undocumented service pack 3 guid. so you must first install owc
and then add the required service packs

I only have the OWC package installed on the server. Can I safely run the
full Office XP SP3 to update it?

All I am installing is the OWC10.msi, I do not want to install Any OfficeXP
products on the server (like Excel, Word, etc.). Alvin are you saying that
after installing OWC10.msi, I should go to Office updates and run the
updates from the server? Phillip just wondering if you resolved your
issues?

Thank-you, Pierre
