Dear Sir/ Mam
I have installed the microsoft works 7.0 . I am facing a
problem in starting the word processor as i am getting an
error message " Word processor cannot start as some files
are currupted or renamed " , but i am able to use rest of
Works applications. Please advice me what to do in this
case. I am using Windows XP Home edition.
I have already Uninstalled/ Installed 3-4 times, but
problem still persists.
Also please advise if i can customize the installation by
choosing some different folder name for installation.

Thanks & Regards

Uninstalling/Reinstalling NEVER resolves a problem with Word starting. Try
the tips in the following FAQ. If this doesn't find the problem, come back
and let us know the following additional information: what OS are you using
and is this a clean install or an upgrade from an older version of Works? Is
it plain Works 7 or part of Works Suite?

Since this appears to be a Works (not Word) problem, you need to post in
microsoft.public.works.win.
