Error Conecting Project Server using Project 2002 Standard

I've downloaded the Outlook Integration module. After the installation and
one update, I am no longer able to connect to the Project Server through
Project Standard. I have to run the setup for Project and "repair" the
installation, which seems to essentially remove the Outlook Intergration
module. I'm running Project 2002 standard, Project 2003 Server, 2000 SQL
Server. I'm looking to:
1. Create projects in Project 2002 or 2003
2. Assign Task to Resources
3. Notify resources of new task and assignments
4. Allow resources to manage and update task through personal Outlook task
and calendar folders
5. Updates sent to master project on Project Server

Outside of the error, is there a way to have the task imported to Outlook as
task and not calendar entries?
