When I install Outlook 2000, under XP Pro, I get the following error message
about, of all things, MS Access, which I don't even have on my PC.
"Error 1919. Error configuring ODBC data source: MS Access Database. ODBC
error 6. Component note found in registry. Verify that the file MS Access
Database exists and thta you can access it."
I am prompted to Cancel, Retry or Ignore. I choose Ignore.
Outlook installs. It uns, but the Outlook Assistant doesn't work: each time
I ask it a question, it prompts me for the Outlook 2000 CD. I put it in
and, again, I get the error message again. Each time I use the Outlook
Assistant, I am re-prompted for the CD, and each time I get the install
error above.
Please Help,
John.
