Error connecting from Project Pro to Project Server 2003

this is a continuation of a post that I just posted.

I am trying to connect from Project Pro on a desktop to a single
Project Server (2003) both on the same domain.

I am getting the following error:

Project cannot log you on automatically using your Windows user
account. You need to change the account in your profile, or contact
your Project Server administrator to check if your Windows user account
exists and is a valid account on the Project Server. (5003)

I have thoroughly verified that I am a user (admin) on the project
server box and that in Project web Access, I am setup as a admin for
projectserver database.

Can anyone point me to what I am missing?

Have you confirmed that your user account in Project Server admin is set to
be windows authenticated rather than Project Server authenticated. If you
click to modify your user account, you will see two radio buttons that allow
you to change. Be careful of the screen changes, it can be decieving as the
user name does not go into the user name, it goes into the user account box,
which may be confusing.
