Error: Copy/Paste Prompts MSWord to Crash

I have just installed MS OFFICE for MAC on my new ibook running on Tiger
10.4.2. The programme runs alright, but it always crash as soon as I
copy/paste a few words. I have reinstalled the programme, but the problem
remains and systematically cause the programme to crash.

The problem appears to be programme specific as it does not occur with other
applications.

Please help!
