Please help!I've tried to export an archive of my mail (Entourage 2008) & I keep getting this error message
ERROR: Corruption detected on index [MLRC:1]
After verifying the database is damaged (using database utility) it suggests I rebuild but after reading some of the posts that may not always work & in fact create an entirely new set of problems. Is anyone familiar with my particular error message & if so any insights would be most appreciated.
THANK YOU

Someone asked about this error recently and I replied this was the first
time I had see an error like ERROR: Corruption detected on index [MLRC:1].

You indicate this is a POP account. Is this correct?

When export as Entourage archive (.rge) fails that's indicates corruption.
You can try exporting as MBOX files, but if that fails you can often see
what folder it fails on and try dragging out as individual messages.

Before you go further be sure you make a copy of your Identity in the Finder
first. As long as you have a database that will open you can salvage most or
all of your data. Working with a corrupted database that opens can lead to
catastrophic failure and then you loose everything unless you have a backup.

Try one of these scripts to export as MBOX files.

How to manually move your data. (when import fails and/or you need to move
to a new Identity same version or revert to an older version)
