Error "Could not find object MSysDb" - What does it mean?

J

JDGROSS

We are trying to recover from a hard drive crash. A
recovery company pulled the data they could from the
drives and we are trying to determine if any of them are
still useful. When trying to open several Access
databases (in XP), we get this error. What does it mean
and what, if anything, can we do to "correct" it and open
the database - at least to retrieve the table information
from it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

As I'm sure that you guessed, this error message means that there is
database corruption. If there is anything that can be recovered, this
article will walk you through that.

Database

Hope that helps!
