Error "could not load an object because it is not available on this machine"

Using Office 2003, Windows XP home.
I receive this error message when:
Opening Word or Excel, or
Opening a file in Word or Excel.
In both cases I click on OK and then everything runs normally without
any error messages or problems.
Any suggestions on how to stop this error message appearing?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Stan,

The article http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/CannotLoadObject.htm
explains the technical details behind the message. The basic cause is that
you have an add-in that's trying to load something but not finding it. For
your purposes, you need to locate the add-in and remove it, rather than
trying to troubleshoot it.

Try the procedure in part 4 of
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm, supplemented by
the steps for finding all add-ins in
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011514521033.aspx.
