Hi Carlo -

This susally happens when an application cannot obtain enough memory to
build the image it is trying to display. Your error message shows that Groove
is trying to build an image 1054 by 552 pixels which doesn't seem too large...

When does this happen? Opening a specific workspace? If so, we can try to
isolate which tool in the space is giving you a problem.

Try this:

1: Open another workspace from the Launchbar.
2: Make sure View -> Toolbars | Eplorer Toolbar is checked.
3: Make sure View -> Show/Hide | Tools in Workspace is checked
4: Ue the Workspace Explorer (labelled Workspace on the toolbar), select the
problematic space and a tool in that space - preferably a files tool since
that hasnt got any pictures in ti.

If that works, you can then click on the other tools in that space to
discover which one has the problem. nce you know this, you can try to work
out whicvh record has the problem. Ask a colleage to send you an IM
containing a link to an entry in that tool - an older one, preferably. Once
you can open the tool by following the link, you can click on records until
you discover which one is giving te error. After that someone else can edit
out the image.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tips Mark,

Have done what you advised except the last part. I will get to it soon. In
the meantime I got a new error:

Not enough storage is available to process this command.

HRESULT: 0x80070008
Process: Groove.exe (ID: 2464 (0x000009a0))

From the beginning I did suspect it was memory problems in my laptop and I
noticed this all started sometime after I upgraded to IE7.

Is there any known issues with IE7 hogging ram? I understand Groove takes a
lot of ram but in this situation it looks like something is taking it away
from Groove.

I have 3gb RAM in my workstation and windows claims I have 1gb free. Still
get this message.

But I have other strange out of memory errors in other apps too. I too have
IE7. Curious if that's when it started.

I also had Trend Micro PC-Cillin Internet Security 2007 which was installed
much earlier before all this trouble. I have uninstalled the PC-Cillin since
it was using too much resources and since then the message has not appeared.
My laptop also runs much faster now.

Somehow there is a correlation between Groove, IE7 and Trend. I assume that
installing PC-Cillin 2007 has made the machine struggle and adding IE7 has
pushed it over the edge in terms of resources.

I'm getting this error as well and I don't think it's really image-related.
Seems to happen whenever I open any tool in any workspace. I am running Vista
with 2 GB RAM, of which 79% is in use. I do not use Trend Micro.
