Error Exporting Chart as GIF

I have a bv COM object that I am using in ASP. The com object simply gets a recordset of data and creates a chart and then exports it to a GIF. The problem I am having is that some of my users can run this page and get a gif'ed chart but other cannot. My immediate thought was rights. So I went to the web server, picked a special person and gave them full control over the folder the chart is exported to. The problem still exists. The error "Method '~' of object '~' failed" is returned and references as line number in my ASP page. That line is: oExcelChart.ExportToGif(strGIFFileName

Any ideas?
