Hi there,
I have a co-worker who gets the following error when they open an excel
document from an email in outlook, and then they edit it and want to save it.
they say that it has worked previously. does anyone know how to make that
work for them? We did show them that they can just save it and re-attach it,
but they think that is too much work......

The error is.... (filename).xls' is read only. To save a copy, click OK,
then give the workbook a new name in the Save As dialog box.

It is bad practice to modify attachments. Save it to disk and edit from
there.
