Error importing pdf files

When I try to import some pdf files to the links folder of an unpublished
web, I get an error message that states "An error occured accessing your
FrontPage web files. Authors - if authoring against a web, please contact the
webmaster forthis server's site. WebMasters - please see the servers's system
log for more details." Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated

Please post what it says in the server's system logs.

Windows XP also creates a log file, under Control Panel | Admin Tools.

Make sure the files are under 1 MB in size.

The way it is set up here I publish to a folder on my desktop and drag and
drop onto our company's server and upload to the web from there As for size I
have imported and published up to 3.7MB without a problem. This problem does
not occur on all pdf files. there does not seem to be a pattern of which pdf
causes this error. The source types I have I have used are all office
programs to pdf, scanned files to pdf, files off our intranet to pdf. I have
fp2000 and windows 2000 professional. p.s I will visit the newsgroup from
home security does not allow access to that server
