Error importing percentage figure from Excel to Word

Excel to Word Problem

I am trying to import an Excel spreadsheet into a Word document. Everything
works beautifully except a field that uses a percentage. Whole number
percentages are fine, but .5 or 1.5 gives me a number like 5.0000000000E-3
I have tried using the format cell as a percentage and limiting it to 2
decimals, etc. Please help!!
