Error Importing Saved .pst file

T

Tonino

I formatted my PC and then installed Office 2003 on a fresh and clean XP
pro. I created an account in Outlook, closed the program, and started it
again. Then I tried to import a Personal File Folder previously saved.
Outlook refused to do so, showing a message saying it was not a valid .pst
file. Sure it was! What went wrong and how can I fix this? There are emails
and contacts of the last 2 years in that file. It would be really awful to
lose all that job.
Thanks in advance.

nick!

I have the same problem. After exporting the file tp a pst file I burne
it on a disk. Then I resinstalled my system and Outlook XP and it say
the PST file is invalid.

THings I've tried already:
- Going back to Outlook 2000 - all the same.
- removing the read-only property. File is still invalid
- recovering the pst file with the windostool scanpst.exe. This seeme
like the solution, but then there is no more error message, but th
e-mails still don't appear in my inbox.

Please please, anybody, help me-
Cheers
Nic
