error in Import file

Hi all
I am trying to import a dbf file (.dbase IV) to my database(2007) but at end
of the processing i received this error:

The search key was not found in any record. (Error 3709)

any help would be approtiated

Sounds to me like there's corruption in the dbf file
can you try to link it & see wether you can retrieve the data that way?

Hi Pieter
My dbf file is correct and works perfectly, I use it in VFoxpro applications
but it is a huge file.
I tried to convert it to dilemiterd text file and import it to my access
database but again as i expected received an error, that means data imported
incompletly
I know this way is not a good method to import ,that why look for a easy way
to import my dbf file directly.
If you or other have any experiences in this case,please inform me.

I'm having exactly the same problem with a couple of linked dbf files.

The strange thing is that the problem only occurs on one computer.
If I download the files and run the same queries, I don't get the error.

Makes me think that the problem is more to do with the environment
or the Access DB itself than with the dbf files.

Did you solve this problem?
