error in imported custom formula fields

- In pro, I imported cost1 to enterprise. The field had manually populated
values.
- In pwa, I renamed this custom field to x.
- In pro, I created a custom cost2 formula subtracting x from bcwp and
imported it to enterprise. This field had calculated values as well.
- In pwa, I renamed this custom field to y.
- In pro, I get an error in the field when displaying y. x still shows
with the original data.

In the msprojectexperts book on implementing pwa (great book), it says that
we need to save the project to cause the new field to calculate values. I
did this and still no dice. What gives? Help!

By magic, the data started appearing in the y field just a few minutes ago
(almost a full day after creating the new field). I'm happy that it's there
now, but am concerned about why it took so long for a formula based
enterprise custom field to show value in pro. Any ideas on why and how to
get access to the calculated data sooner?

The answer may be in the queue. We can only guess at this, but it seems as
though a likely explanation is that there were queue jobs waiting to process
ahead of this job.
