Error in loading DLL

After an enforced absence from the Mac world I have had to start the G4 from
scratch, reinstalling OS 10.3.9 and loading Office 2004 and I see XL is
v11.0

Bringing XL files back from the PC (XL 2000 (9.0.3821 SR-1)) I find XL opens
itself but I get the error message 'Error in loading DLL' if I double click
the file icon or try to open the file from within XL

The file has macros and is an important frequently used workhorse - I should
hate to have to go back the the PC to use it

Seems like the macros were not written for operation on the Macintosh. You
will probably need to go to the author of the macros to determine the reason
for the error. Remember that the Macintosh does not support Active-X. So any
macros written for the PC using this will not work on the Mac.
