Error in loading dll

Hi,

Each time I attempt to open an access DB the windows
installer pops up (auto-repair??), then I get a message
saying Installed Access Component. Once this has finished
I get a run time error saying 'error in the loading: dll'.
This run time error then happens every time I 'click'
anywhere within my app. I have tried repairing my Office
install, even uninstalling and re-installing. Other than
my install being corrupt, does anybody know what else I
might try? I am using Office 2002/WinXP Pro.

Sounds (or reads) like you have a corrupt application, but
maybe not. Try a /decompile on it to remove the compiled
code, compact it and compile it again. One other thing, I
had a similar problem with my switchboard not working
(even when I re-created it) and it wasn't until I re-
installed Windows that problem went away. MS told me that
it was a registry thing.

I had the same issue, tried all of the fixes suggested my MS KB
including registering DLLs'. Applying SP3 for Office appeared to fi
my issue.
