Error in loading objects

I have a document with excel and equation objects. I can
create more, but when I click twice in one, it doesn't
open. Gives an error like "The object is damaged or
doesn´t exist".
Can someone help me?

If you recently installed one of the Office updates, such as SP-3 for
Office 2000 or SP-2 for Office XP, and also use Norton AV then take a
