error in mso9.dll

I open Outlook 2000 Professional. No matter what button
(except one - see below) I click on in menus or folders, I
get following error message:

"Outlook has caused an error in mso9.dll. Outlook will now
close."

However, the "send/receive" button works. Can't access
email once downloaded. Any clues?
