Error in my Word document!!

HELP!!
I have recently finished a larger report on Word but when
I went to print it I got an error that read:

-Dr.Watson for Windows NT-
"An application error has occured and an application log
is being generated. WINWORD.exe
Exception:access violation (0xc0000005),Address:
0x301e4f1f".

....and then it kicks me out of Word.

This only happens with this particular file, no others so
it must be an error in my document(?).

I tried to "save as" under another name but the error
carries through. At some instances when I try to save it
will come up with the same error and kicks me out of word.

I tried to copy and paste the document to another new
document but it won't even pastebecause I instantly get
kicked out!

I have photographs, Table of contents and List of figures
(which is created by "comments" below the pictures).
I have tried deleting the photographs and then printing
but the error still occurs.

I've tried everything I can think of, can anyone help me?!

Hi Susanne,

It could be that the document is corrupt. Here are a few things to
try:

If the document contains graphics then in Word go to
Tools/Options/View and turn in "Picture Placeholders" and "Draft
Font".

If the document contains links then on the General tab make sure
"Update automatic links at Open" is turned off.

Try using a document link to retrieve the corrupt document:
- Create a new document
- Copy some text from another document
- In the new document use Edit/Paste Special and select "Paste Link"
- Go to Edit/Links and change the source of the link to the document
you can not open

If this works then return to Edit/Links and break the link to the
source document.

For additional troubleshooting steps/methods take a look at this
article:

You also try a recovery utility such as those from
http://www.officerecovery.com/, however they aren't free downloads.

assistance by email can not be acknowledged.
