Error in word Word

I receive error messages when I try to open and close
word. On opening the message is:
"The file normal already exists. Do you want to replace
the existing file."

That is not an 'error'... You [most-likely] customized
your Word options differently as opposed to Word's
settings 'privy' to the pop-up, meanwhile, affected your
previous documents' settings.
