Error inserting clip art, etc.

Erin

Every time I try to insert clip art, etc. (with '97
version) I get the error message: "Publisher cannot launch
or communicate with the OLE server program needed to
complete this task. There may not be enough disk space, or
there may be a problem with the server program. To make
more disk space available, delete some unneeded files on
your hard disk. If you suspect a problem with the server
program, try reinstalling it. Then try this task again." I
have removed and reinstalled publisher and still get the
same error message. Any other ideas?

Right-click any image in the Clip Gallery catalogue, click recover. This will compact
the Gallery. The Clip Gallery has its own help files, follow the troubleshooting
steps outlined in the help articles. It could be your Gallery has become corrupt and
needs to be re-registered.

Thanks so much for your assistance - I will give those
ideas a try - Sincerely, Erin

There are a few things you can try:
1. Read KB171384
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en- us;171384

2. Locate Wrdart32.exe in the C:\Program Files\Common
Files\MicrosoftShared\Wordart folder and double-click it. Try inserting
clipart again.

3. Try disabling Script Blocking and the Microsoft Office PlugIn in Norton
AntiVirus and try again.

They seem to be related to Wordart rather than clipart but it still triggers
the same error message.
