(MSSMLBIZ). Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 cannot continue. See

more detail.

I have treid unsinstalling .net framework 2.0 and reinstalling several times

Hi Kesh,

Try these two:
1. Re-start the machine and install BCM
2. Go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall SQL Server completely, and then
install BCM.

If that does not work, please look at the error that the log file is
reporting. Mostly, it will be at the end of the file.

I'm interested in the answer to this, too. I get the same results and
messages. What's a little confusing is that I originally had BCM installed
(from CD) as part of the Office 2007 Professional, purchased right after it
came out ... and on Vista. But I've had restore my hard drive back to
factory delivered condition (big mess). No I can't install BCM (or the
Accounting module on the same CD). I also tried downloading and installing
SQL express, but the CD overwrites it during BCM install.

Sorry, that should read "NOW I can't install BCM (or the Accouting module on
the same CD."

I think I've found a solution to our problem, Kesh. It's a little involved,
but not terribly technical.

Start by starting the Task Manager (easiest to use Ctr/Alt/Del and selecting
Task Manager from the list of options). Once you're in Task Manager, click
on the Services Tab. In the lower right corner you'll see a "Services"
button. Keep this windows upen during the next step.

Next uninstall all of the various SQL programs. There may be as many as 4
or 6. At some points during the unistall process you may be asked to end
some SQL services. Go back to the Task Manager/Services/Services window and
end the processes as required, but just be sure to wait to be told which
processes to end.

After you've uninstalled all of SQL programs you can close out all windows
and restart your computer.

Then go into My Computer to C:\Program Files. Move the Microsoft SQL Server
folder to your Recycle Bin. Don't delete it from your computer just yet.

Now restart your computer again.

After restarting, put your Office 2007 Disk 2 into your optical. Don't let
the CD auto start. Rather, go into the CD in Windows Explorer, right click
on the Setup.exe program and "Run as administartor". It should load out BCM
and SBA. If it does, you can delete what's in your recycle bin.

It worked for me. Let me know how it goes fo you
