After replacing my HD (the original crashed), I am unable to install
Frontpage 2000. I am running W2K with Office 2000, but each time I try to
install FP I get the error "Error 1305: Error reading from file:
E:\Pfiles\MSOffice\Office\FPEDITAX.DLL". I've gotten the same error but with
a different ddl at other times. I've tried a custom install with no luck.
Can anyone offer any suggestions, assistance and help me get this done. My
W2K is current with patches and security updates. Thanks in advance

I googled for Error 1305 and learned I may have an MDAC problem. I am
running with MDAC 2.7 and MDAC 2.7 SP! Refresh.

I am installing from CD and have tried two different CD drives with the same
result.

Yes and based on what it says, I can only guess I have a media problem since
my 2 CD drives don't cause this problem with other cd media...or at least
they haven't yet.
