Error Installing MS Office 2000

I changed computers and trying to install MS Office 2000
on my new laptop. However, halfway through the "Please
wait while Windows Configures Microsoft Office 2000"
screen, I came up with an error saying:

Error 1305. Error reading from file:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\MSSTDFMT.DLL. Verify that the file
exists and that you can access it.

I tried starting the installation process all over again,
but still came up with the same error message. I went
into that particular folder and found the file. So it
does exists. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Have you tried copying the CD to the hard drive and installing from the hard
drive?
