Error: Jet database engine stopped the process

When I attempt to copy a table similar to other tables in
the same database that I've copied successfully, I get
the message, "The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped
the process because you and another user are attempting
to change the same data at the same time."

There are no other users using the database.

I searched the Knowledge Base and it found Article 318882
which I did not understand.

Any help would be appreciated.

This error can result from numerous things:

-- corruption in the database;

-- you're trying to copy or edit something while you're editing it;

-- other things.
