Error Launching Browser

When I am in Microsoft Word, the following places I click I get the error
message "Error Launching Browser":

Under the Help menu; check for updates and microsoft office online
Under browse for templates on Microsoft Office online

Can anyone help?

I found from a previous post how to solve this: going to Internet Explorer,
Tools, Internet Options, Programs, Reset Web Settings.
