I have a macro that links a series of .dbf files into an Access database.
Each file is linked as a table and named accordingly. But one of the files
triggers an error message that reads "External table is not in the expected
format." I've gotten around this by opening the file in Excel and saving it
as an Excel spreadsheet and importing the spreadsheet from Excel. But is
there anything I can do to correct the underlying problem so that this .dbf
file can be linked in like the others.
