I have a user here that is trying to link up to to a
table on our AS400. I have setup his ODBC Data Sources,
and it connects to the AS400 fine. (I tested it through
the ODBC Source). The problem is that when he goes into
Access to Get External Data, Link, chooses a Data Source,
it stops responding IMMEDIATELY and on the error report
it gives the modname riched20.dll file. I originally
thought it was from the NIMDA virus, and that file had
been corrupted by it. We ended up giving this person a
brand new PC with a reload of Office XP, and it still
gives the same message. I know this is not an AS400
issue because it connects on the Data Source side fine.
I have looked everywhere on the web, and my last resort
is either to post this or to email Microsoft support. I
thought I would go this route first. Any advice? OS is
Windows XP, Office Version is Office XP.
Thanks for any help!!!![Frown :( :(](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
