Error Loading Scrolling Text

Word 2002, Windows 2000 Pro.
Trying to create scrolling text in a word file. Everytime
I click on the "Scrolling Text" button on the Web Tools
toolbar, Word either freezes or returns the error screen
telling me that it encounters a problem and has to be shut
down. Help!
