error log created when viewing attachments

Recently, Outlook has been failing to view attachments
recieved. It generates an error log and closes outlook.
I cannot find the error log and do not know how to fix
it. This happens on new emails as well as emails where I
have viewed the attachment successfully before. I can
save the attachment and view it through Windows explorer,
just "view attachment" within outlook creates the problem.
