Trying to upload and publish a calendar as per Office Online and Outlook help
instructions but keep getting this error message. Blog from this site of
9/9/06 'Failed to publish calendar' solution did not help me. Any ideas how
to resolve greatly appreciated please.

Hello All,

I too have this problem. I was able to temporarily fix it by going to the
actually Internet Calendars website from Office Online and deleting all
instances of the published calendars. However, now I am getting the same
error as Nic. In fact, I cannot subscribe to someone else's invitation, nor
can I go back to the Internet Calendars website. It keeps redirecting me back
to Office Online.

I have tried to publish a calendar for the first time today and am receiving
the same error. Any thoughts as to how to resolve ths issue would be
appreciated.

I'm also having issues with this. Very irritating. Hopefully it's a temporary
thing.
Maybe SP1 can solve it? I'll return if so.

I am still experiencing the problem. I even tried logging on the web to
office online but no help. This must be something quite simple as there does
not seem to be much discussion about the topic. Are others able to publish
calenders?

My wife and I are having the same problem (see my 2/4/08 post “Problem with
Sharing Calendars Onlineâ€). When we try to subscribe to each other’s
calendars we get the error message “Access to the resource was denied. If
you have signed into and saved your Windows Live ID with a Web site, sign out
of that Web site, and then try this operation again.†And like Thomas, I
can’t get to the Internet Calendars website.

Expect: I hope you are right about a simple solution but I think the reason
there isn’t much discussion is that we are on the “bleeding edge†trying to
use this feature. I too hope it gets fixed.

Found an answer that worked for me on another thread.

In outlook, Go to Tools, Account settings, Published calendars then click
change account then proceed to log in through outlook. I did this and then
my calendar published taka taka.

This solution had been offered in another forum and never seemed to work.
However I tried it one more time and it has solved it for me too! (Perhaps
all of the 'activity' around this issue had 'big brother' look at a quick fix
in the backend?) Very happy - thanks all.
