Error message: (0x8004060c)

We are running Exchange 2000 on our server, and Outlook 2003 on the
workstations. One client is getting the error message (0x8004060C): 'The
message store has reached its maximum size. To reduce the amount of data in
this message store, select some items that you no longer need, and
permanently delete them.' She deleted alot and also archived, but still gets
the error message. Actually the size of her mailbox is not as large as other
clients.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Is she using cached Exchange mode? Is she using a PST?

Hi Brian, She is using a PST. Her Cached Exchange Mode is currently turned
off. A while back she had it turned on because that is the only way to use
her junk email filter. It seems like we turned it off because of a conflict.
Should this be turned back on?

It sould be he PST has gotten too large. What size it is and is it a
97-2002 style PST?

Her PST is only 1376KB, and yes it is a 97-2002 style PST.

How is she connecting to the Exchange server? The message seems to indicate
that either her PST is too large (which appears to be not the case) or her
Exchange mailbox is too full.
