ChildFree23
Whenever I try to receive incoming email using MS Outlook 2003, I
get the following error Message:
Task 'ChildFree23 - Receiving' reported error (0x8004210A) : 'The
operation timed out waiting for a response from the receiving
(POP) server. If you continue to receive this message, contact
your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
I was told by my ISP's tech support to disable incoming mail
scanning in Norton AntiVirus, and was able to receive mail that
way. I also looked up the related MS Knowledge Base article, and
it was of no help.
Does anyone know of any "common sense" workarounds or solutions
that DOESN'T involve disabling one's virus protection?
Thank you,
