All of a sudden I cannot send mail from Entourage, nor can my partner on his Entourage on a completely different computer. Receiving mail is okay. We have checked our SMTP configuration using iMail and it is working just fine, so we think the problem is Entourage related. I have tried deleting the account, re-starting Entourage and re-setting up the account, but this has not helped.

Any suggestions?

1. If you can receive but not send then you have a bad SMTP configuration
2. If you can send but not receive you have a bad POP or IMAP configuration

Most likely your ISP has updated their servers and you need to click in the
Advanced setting for your SMTP and add/change this info. This info should be
provided to you on the setup page they provide. Most send out emails with
this info but it could have been lost in your spam folder.

Thanks for responding.

The SMTP settings appear to be correct, since I can send mail with these setting using IMail. We also checked with our ISP to make sure the settings were correct. We think the problem is specifically Entourage related.

Do you have any other suggestions?

You could try deleting the account and recreating it new. Not just delete
the contents, but the account.

Is there a stuck message in your Outbox? Open each message and select Send
from the message. Start with the oldest one. I occasionally see a message
that will not send and I can copy/paste the contents in a new message and it
goes out.
