Error Message: AutoCorrect List File !!!

Hello, I got a new laptop pre-installed with windows xp
home edition. I have installed Office XP, and now, when I
start typing, I get some sort of error msg saying
that "Can't write to mso1033 file is read only or you dont
have the permission"

I looked for these files in my PC in c:\document and
settings\applicationdata\user\microsoft\office

But I couldnt find it.. it does not exist. I tried
searching for it as well but still nothing. I Did detect
and repair option, ..nothing happened.
Finally, I uninstalled XP and installed office 2000 ..
even doing so, the same msg appears ... Can any one
help????? :shock: :shock:
