error message--backkup.pst

karly mom

I ran detect and restore on Outlook 2003. After I did that, I lost all my
data, which somehow I found and partially restored. Now, every time I open
Outlook, I get this error message "The fileC:\doucuments and
settings\owner\desktop\outlook backup.pst could not be found." When I close
that, I get a dialogue box that says "CReate/Open Personal Folders File." And
it gives me the option to open a file
named outlook backup.pst.

I"m not sure what I've done. Can anyone shed some light?

You don't have a properly configured default delivery location. You can set
this in Control Panel-> Mail-> E-mail Accounts-> Next.
Depending on your profile corruption you might need to create a new one. For
this see;
