Error message: "Cannot open any more databases"

I am getting the following error message every time I
open a particular form:

"Cannot open any more databases"

The form has quite a few controls on it and some VBA code
in the module, but was working fine until I made a few
fairly minor changes. I tried adding a 3rd recordset to
a function, which seemed to trigger the problem, but even
though I have removed the 3rd recordset, the error
remains.

Any suggestions gratefully received.
