Error Message: Directory Service is currently unavailable

I am also getting this error message when trying to select a different
printer. I am not on a network. I have an HP 960c inkjet printer driver and a
PDF printer driver installed. This just started happening. I was able to
choose the PDF driver in the past with no problems. This happens with all
documents, not just one. Has anyone found a solution to this?
