error message for fax.msi

When I start up my computer I get a screen that tries to confiquire fax.
they want a cd installed. I have tried all that I have but none work. they
are looking for file fax.msi - installation package (msi). What does this
mean

What is the name of the program that is trying to install the Fax component?
No Office program tries to install fax, at least in Office XP and 2003.
