Error Message for opening outlook files

I recently upgraded a computer to XP Pro and installed Outlook XP on the
system. For some reason, when I try to open up files from outlook an error
message comes up that says "Would you like outlook to open the default
system?" When I click yes a viewer comes up and you can't see any of the
appointments or anything. I uninstalled and reinstalled outlook a few times
and I get the same error. What is the solution?

Try creating a new mail profile via Control Panel | Mail | Show Profiles,
and attach your .PST file to that profile. Then tell Outlook to use that
profile when starting.
