Error message from old Norton application

I try to bring up the Office Update app, but an error box
from an old Norton ScanDisk app blocks the ActiveX query.
I removed the Norton app long ago when I installed
McAfee. I'm guessing it's a registry problem. How do I
remedy?

Check symantec site for uninstall utility, or info on how to completely
remove, yr version
