Error Message in Entourage

Legacy_Office

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Email Client: imap

I just bought Office 2008 for Mac and I'm having a problem with Entourage. When I start the program, I get the following message: " Unable to establish a secure connection to legacyofficesolutions.com because the correct root certificate is not installed". I have two email accounts; the one above and a mobile me account for syncing to my I phone. I have tried to set the Mail security settings on both the digital signing and encryption to the downloaded Thawrte certificate and the above alarm and message continues to pop up. Any ideas? Nothing is ever easy with Microsoft!

I just bought Office 2008 for Mac and I'm having a problem with Entourage.
When I start the program, I get the following message: " Unable to establish a
secure connection to legacyofficesolutions.com because the correct root
certificate is not installed". I have two email accounts; the one above and a
mobile me account for syncing to my I phone. I have tried to set the Mail
security settings on both the digital signing and encryption to the downloaded
Thawrte certificate and the above alarm and message continues to pop up. Any

It's possible you don't need a certificate for IMAP. Open your Account in
the Account window under Tools in the Menu bar. Click on the buttons for
advanced receiving and sending. Uncheck options there.

Also check under the Mail Security tab to be sure you have the correct
setting there.

If it is a certificate issue, see "Unable to establish a secure connection
warning continues for some users"
