Error message in Outlook 2000

Been using Outlook 2000 with no problems when suddenly
this error message occurs when I try and do a send/receive:

error:eek:e:0028:00600041

I then get a subsesquent message saying that the port has
been disconnected by the user.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
